For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Too often, we make the Gospel about God wanting to judge us for our sin, but giving us a way out through Jesus. That's not an accurate presentation of the Gospel.
God isn't looking to judge. He's already judged sin on the cross. He desperately wants to forgive us. But we instead cling to sin that forces us to be judged along with it.
