Overall, we’re fans of musical adaptations to film, but then again, we’re never quite sure what we’re gonna get. Which is why we were so pleasantly surprised with the Netflix adaptation of Jonathan Larson’s tick, tick…BOOM! Particularly notable is the tight focus on Larson’s story, and keeping commentary from modern times out. Even more, the adaptation was thisclose to being entirely clean!
