The first of the franchise, God of War is the story of Kratos, a Spartan warrior in service to the gods of Olympus as he seeks redemption for his past sins. At the end of his 10 year journey, Kratos is faced with one final daunting task: to kill the mad God of War himself, Ares. So Kratos will hack and slash his way across the land in pursuit of the only thing that can kill a god: Pandora's Box.
