The Devils announced the signing of veteran defenseman Kyle Quincey to a one year, 1.25 million dollar deal. The 31-year-old will add more depth to the blue line, but also now makes the competition for the 6th and 7th defenseman spots all that much more complicated.

Then, we'll take a look at Wednesday night's preseason game against the Flyers, as the Devils fell 2-0 while featuring a roster predominantly of non-roster players.
