Episode 89: The Death of Superman, Obi-Wan Rumored In Star Wars Episode 9, DC Universe Content Revealed, Jared Leto Cast As Morbius The Living Vampire
This week Jordan, Joe, and David got an early copy of DC's new animated film The Death of Superman, which officially releases in August, so we review that in Super Talk this week. To kick things off, i ask Joe and David their thoughts on some of last weeks big news stories that they missed. Highlighting the news this week, we finally get a detailed official list of what will be launching with the new DC Universe streaming service, so we give you our thoughts on all of that. Also in the news this week, the Obi Wan film is rumored to possiby premiere on Disneys new upcoming streaming service, and also we discuss the rumor that Ewan McGregor may be reprising his role as Obi Wan in next years Star Wars Episode 9. Patrick Stewart is in negotiations to reprise his role as Picard in a new upcoming Star Trek series, we're finally getting a Halo live action series, Jared Leto has been cast as Morbius The Living Vampire in Sony's new Moribus movie, we learn the official title for Spider-Man Homecoming 2, Gamestop is now selling comics, and more in news this week. We discuss, review, and rate "The Death of Superman" to kick things off in Super Talk, followed by a spoiler-free season review of Luke Cage Season 2. In Tube Talk this week Jordan and Joe talk about the new Netflix documentary "The Staircase", and the new Tomb Raider movie, David watched Cooking Shows, and more. We head on to the Trailer Park to discuss the new Creed 2, and Predator trailers. In Collectible Cave this week, Joe picked up a couple Quantum Mechanix mini-statues, Jordan talks about his new Black & White Batman Greg Capullo Designer Series Aniversary Figure, new Rorschach & Action Comics 1000 shirts, as well as a couple other things, and David aint got shit.
