In this second Sunday of Advent I would like to share with you the little method of prayer called: The Method of Welcoming. It is adapted from the Contemplative Outreach Website. https://www.contemplativeoutreach.org/welcoming-prayer-method/
The Welcoming Prayer is a method of consenting to God’s presence and action in our physical and emotional reactions to events and situations in daily life. The purpose of the Welcoming Prayer is to deepen our relationship with God through consenting in the ordinary activities of our day — “consent-on-the-go.”
I hope that it will help you and me not only during the time of Advent, but in our life- as a prayerful attitude.
