In this episode, I was honoured to be joined by Alex Hershaft, who survived the Holocaust as a child and went on to co-found Farm Animal Rights Movement (FARM) in the US during the 1970s. We discuss his experiences, the parallels he saw between what happened to Jews and to farmed animals, and the differences he sees. We also talk about his work at FARM, and discuss problems in the modern AR movement.
