Blake is the owner and Chief Executive Officer of Desert Creek Honey in McKinney, Texas (DesertCreekHoney.com). He oversees his commercial beekeeping company, packing company, and retail supplies company, and he has spent his life becoming an expert in beekeeping and honey.

Blake serves on the Executive Board of the American Beekeeping Federation (ABF), the National Honey Board. He is Chair for membership and marketing for the ABF, the President of the Texas Beekeepers Association. He is known for his presentations at conferences on local, state, national, and international levels.
