Rena P. Dixon, PhD, MPH, MCHES has worked her entire career in the rural southeastern United States. Currently serving as the Director of Community Investment and Impact at Fact Forward, she oversees staff working on program development and implementation, evaluation and professional learning

related to adolescent health. She has extensive experience on providing quality reproductive health services for adolescents and young adults.

  • Dr. Dixon was born and raised in Augusta, Georgia. She graduated cum laude from Armstrong Atlantic State University, in Savannah, Georgia with a Bachelor’s of Science in Health Sciences and a minor in Latin American studies. Dr. Dixon also holds her Master of Public Health from Armstrong and a PhD in Public Health with a focus on Health Promotion and Health Education from Walden University. She has a passion for public speaking, sexual health, health equity and social justice.  Before coming to Fact Forward, Dr. Dixon has worked for Planned Parenthood of Georgia and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
