This week we had the pleasure of having local dive bar, Black Cockatoo's Manager, Jacob Desposito in the bar! He's one of the legends of Wollongong hospitality and a true fan of booze. Despo, Jared and I chatted about all things orange wine, how covid is affecting local business, oxidation, Chenin Blanc,  sustainability and a little bit of beer as we taste: 2020 Valle Du Venom Chenin Blanc, 2019 Minimum Wines Red Blend and one of our new wineries Lansdowne Wine and their 2020 New Pinot, which is as epic as it sounds. Despo was a legend to have on the show, we've been getting feedback that the laidback nature of the podcast is appealing and this guy knows how to lay back - he also has a great palate.
