In a special edition of Loud and Proud in Liverpool, Lewis Jennings speaks to two of the co-founders of LCR Pride Foundation. The organisation aims to make Liverpool City Region the most LGBTQ+ friendly region in the UK. Chief exec Andi Herring discusses this year’s theme ‘From Now On’, which focuses on activism and calls on businesses and organisations to do their part to bring change for the LGBTQ+ community. We also hear from John Bird, who is no longer with the organisation, but he talks about the process of setting it up and getting engaged during Pride in Liverpool 2019.
