Think about any relationship you have ever had. What is the key to the relationship? Communication. There is no way that any relationship can work without it. Communication is how we get to know each other, how we get to understand more about them, what the other person likes, what they don’t like, what upsets them, what makes them happy, what their wants and desires are, etc. And for us as Christians, building that relationship with God is critical and one of the ways we do that is prayer.
