Despite a deployment to Afghanistan's Hyena Road, aka IED Alley, and his current vocation as a police officer with Toronto Police Service, José Arias has managed to navigate around the craters that cause one to experience post traumatic stress. On this episode, José shares his story from childhood to the present, including the reasons he has thus far avoided PTSD and his acquired skills of breathing techniques and meditation.
