Phil Chang is in his fifth season as Director of Basketball Analytics and Research for the Los Angeles Lakers. His team assists decision-making and data management within Basketball Operations, including areas like player personnel, coaching, scouting, G League, and player health. Phil previously worked in the NBA League Office’s Basketball Strategy & Analytics group, coming from a finance background at BlackRock. Phil attended Princeton University.
