Kayla (Bug Bite) completed a northbound thru hike of the Appalachian Trail in 2021. She is our first guest of the 2021 thru hiking class and it was a blast hearing about what the current season of thru hiking had to offer. Our conversations consisted of topics including, expectations for a long distance hike, how the AT is truly the people’s trail, and all the interesting thru hiking stories woven in between.
