BIIGGER than our Dreams is a conversation series between multidisciplinary artists YawnyBlew and Tarik (amir.) Carroll. These discussions are inspired by their shared experiences as Queer, plus-sized men of color navigating the entertainment industry and centered around their single “Can’t Compete.” The single and discussion were inspired by Tarik’s work with The EveryMan Project. The goal is to discuss how we interpret the signals we get from the world about our bodies and identities and how those things shape the way we pursue our dreams.
