Every week it is my goal to share stories from successful business owners and their relationship with time. Today’s guest is Molly Balunek. Molly has practiced as an advocate for successful financial management for over 25 years. She has found that striving to help clients make smart money decisions begins with building a foundation based on an understanding of what truly motivates each client and the individual core values and beliefs which drive their goals.
Molly knows that building relationships is the key to a successful business. Having a strategy around how to easily connect and add value to her ideal clients has helped her be more effective and efficient as she enters the next stage in her business. - Clear Emails - “When I contact people by email to ask for a meeting, instead of saying, “Hey, let's meet for coffee” I would say, “Let's meet for coffee and I'm available on these three dates, does Panera in Independence (Ohio) work for you?”
- Knowing which marketing strategies work - “I had a group, Women With Goals. It was a community conversation where women can learn from each other. . . it's long-lasting. It's not transactional. It's relational.”

- Refining her marketing plan - “I want to spend it working on refining our marketing plan and not just putting pushing the snooze button indefinitely - thinking about ways in which we could be innovative and using tools that other folks in our marketplace haven't been using yet.”
