In this episode, Jane talks to Professor Wendy Reid, consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist at the Royal Free Hospital, London. Professor Reid is Health Education England’s first national Medical Director, in addition to being its Director of Education and Quality. Jane and Wendy look back at Wendy’s early days at school in the UK and USA, joining medical school in London and finding a specialism. Wendy remembers the influential figures in her life, how she has navigated her career - including knowing when to compromise - and the importance of education and training.
