We’re watching Rocky IV again—but this time, it’s The Ultimate Director’s Cut! During the pandemic lockdowns, Sylvester Stallone took the time to rework the film from the ground up. Gone is the robot, there’s more Apollo, and the scenes pack a lot more emotional punch. Logan and Ty sit down to explore the making of this new version, including the behind-the-scenes documentary that follows Stallone as he re-edits the classic. What changed in the soundtrack? How about the color grading? It feels like Stallone examined every inch and aspect of the film during the recut.
