We invited Huda the founder of The Batter Room who have spend years volunteering for the inclusive community before moving towards becoming an allied educator. The Batter Room was set up to support the inclusion community and continuous support to advocate this movement. We spoke about the importancy of sex education as part of creating awareness to our child despite their challenges. Chances are high for the vulnerable ones but how do we as parent plays our part in ensuring that they understand the personal space and boundaries? Is there really sexual abuse ongoing within the inclusive community? Should this conversation and sharing only take place after our children reaches puberty or should we even start it from young?
