This week I have the pleasure of introducing you to one of the most awesome and powerful people that I know – Laurie Lindsay Mulligan!!! You will be able to tell immediately why I asked her to be a guest. And she’s really going to share HER – her story, her experiences, her insights and most importantly her courage!!! You’ll know what I’m talking about when we get there.
This episode was all about self-care. How to recognize it - how to maintain it - and what it looks like. Best of all - this was all from the perspective of Laurie and her actual experiences!
Main points for self-care during a transition:
I do want to reiterate a point that Laurie made. Neither of us are medical professionals. If you think you are depressed – seek help. Have the conversations – ask the questions. Take care of you! It’s OK – there is no shame, no stigma.
I promise you – if you follow any one of the tips that we discussed you will be in a better place. You will position yourself to Thrive in the transition.
