Native American tribes from Maine to Texas all share a tale about a mysterious, impish figure. Grey skinned and armored in porcupine quills, the Pukwudgie has been called everything from a trickster to a killer, with accounts and sightings still being reported to this day. It is a creature that captures the imagination of people from authors to artists, and in this episode, we discuss how none other than J.K. Rowling brought it to entirely new heights of attention. But like most things connected with the Pukwudgie, it brought a pinch of mischief along with it.
