Just like fame, beauty costs. And here's where you start paying! Kim and Em are fascinated with the recent slew of Beauty Horror gracing our screens, often (but not always) directed by women seeking to reflect, comment on, and rebel against unattainable beauty standards. 

These are standards which are increasingly becoming the normal way to achieve validation as well as financial success. Kinda depressing right?! But is this a new thing? Kim and Em delve into the historical roots of the pursuit of perfection citing key films The Ugly Stepsister (2025) and The Neon Demon (2016) as they attempt to spotlight the villains, get to grips with the evil that makes the characters do what they do, and show how this raises a mirror to our own lives.
