A 122-year old historic mansion located in Detroit, Michigan has been many things over the years, which adds to it’s mysterious charm. First, the location was the residence of David Whitney Jr. and his family, later a part of the Wayne County Medical Society and now, a restaurant including a bar named after the hauntings. Ghostly apparitions dressed in Victorian clothes vanish between rooms, nurses and patients are seen on upper floors and lights mysteriously flicker on and off when asked about their presence. The Whitney Mansion was even seen on ‘Ghost Hunters,’ where the paranormal team spent four days filming. With over 50 rooms inside, you never know what you may find, or feel when you enter!
