As we grow older, we see how the outside of our bodies change - the wrinkles, the grey hair, the flap under our arms, but we can forget that the insides of our bodies are also changing. Our mouths produce less saliva and our stomachs struggle with foods that we once loved. Our relationship food changes. If you are struggling with your reactions to food, now is the time to have a conversation with your doctor. It's not you, it's all of us, Free Rangers. It's going to be okay.

During this episode, Amy and Sara talk about their current struggles with food. Amy has been trying to lose pandemic weight while balancing menopause. She talked with her doctor who conducted a metabolism test to see how many calories she should be eating. Thanks to finding the right amount of calories and scaling back some of her intense workouts, she managed to lose almost 30 pounds in 2023. Sara embraced veganism to help her to address various health issues. Every relationship with food is different. We hope our stories motivate you to share yours with your doctor and find ways to improve your relationship with food.
