Last week it was announced that two of our own AFI players, Olawale Gazal and Kevin Mayo from the South Dublin Panthers have been signed to play NCAA Div III football with North Park University in Chicago, Illinois. The Wolfhounds kitted team return to training, so Kelly went to the National Sports Campus and caught up with Head Coach Ciaran O’Sullivan, National Program Director Alan Orr, players Marty Caskey and Alex Kusmirek and Defensive Coordinator Brendan Kelleher. A new merger in the flag scene with the Tigers joining with the Raptors may future-proof the Raptors for the coming years and enhance their meme-game no end. This Sunday will see the finals of the Donaghy Group Cup where we will be onsite in Derry to capture the action between the Jets, Vipers, Giants and Razorbacks.
