Episode 9. Why The Long Neck?

Listen Later

Allllrighty it’s another Sunday, science/Bonnie and Averill lovers! Welcome back to Episode 9.

On today’s ep:

- Boring weeks
- Why the long neck?
- What wins - fighting or feeding?
- A small rap

Today we get into two papers that discuss why giraffes have long necks.

Is it to feed up high on trees or is it to club your make competitor with? We still don’t know, but the discussion along the way is fun.
