Gossip is deadly! Gossip is a disease of the soul! Gossip is a sin, it is a crime. Gossip defiles us and destroys us. God severely warned His people to shun gossip at all costs. Gossip is of the devil and the children of God must not have anything to do with it. There is much gossip in the church today which is detrimental to the body of Christ and His holy name. God’s work suffers due to sinful gossip and the devil is laughing out loud at most of us. May we repent of our sin and turn to the Holy Spirit to guard and guide us to glorify God.
