The Mets went 5-0 this week. They've won six in a row. They swept the Yankees and Marlins. They get the Nationals this week before a big series against the Braves. Jacob deGrom returns on Tuesday in D.C. Tyler Naquin is a Met. Hopefully more new faces join us before deGrom's season debut on Trade Deadline Day. Trevor May and James McCann are also about to return. The vibes are great; so great in fact that it reminded us of a different trade deadline that the Mets bookended with great play against a division rival.
