Today’s episode involves a chat with mother and daughter team Emma Pilcher and Tatum Pilcher.
Emma is a Strength and Conditioning coach who works with athletes across all range of sports to help them achieve their optimum potential.
She has a degree in teaching and qualifications in; strength and conditioning, personal training, sports coaching and pilates.
Emma has been teaching and coaching for over 20 years. Throughout her career she has worked in professional sport and now chooses to focus on the area of youth coaching and development. She spends a large portion of her coaching hours working with dancers, gymnasts and cheerleaders on strength, total body conditioning with a special interest in flexibility and core strength and stability.
Emma’s daughter Tatum is a phenomenal young dancer. At only 14 years of age Tatum has already been crowned Dancer of the Year twice. She has travelled overseas to the World Dance Movement, been a member of the Dream Creative and is an International Dance Technique Assistant. Tatum attends the Talent Development High School at Brent Street. She is an amazingly hardworking and humble young dancer with a promising career ahead of her.
