Matt Breivogel has been on staff at One Life Church as the Creative Arts Director and part of our teaching team for over 8 years. Almost every design and creative element that One Life has created during that time, Matt has created or been a part of. Matt is also one of the most pastoral people we have on our staff. He and his family care deeply about the mission and vision of the local Church, and One Life Church's mission of helping people far from God, trust, and follow Jesus. Matt's personality and overall positive attitude have made working with him a true joy and just a fun place to be.

This episode is bittersweet in a sense. Matt is following direction from God and moving to a new full-time position with a local business that he has been working freelance for over that past few years. He and his wife, Amanda, sat down with us and shared their personal journey through this decision, and also talk about how they will still be a part of One Life Church, maybe more than ever.

For you as the listener, even if you don't know Matt and Amanda, we believe their story will walk you through a journey of prayer and listening to God as He leads us to where He calls us.

We at One Life already miss having Matt's infectious personality and wisdom in our weekly meetings and conversations, but we are thankful that he is still part of One Life Church, and helping lead in new ways, and we are also excited to see his joy of the gospel and joy of people being used in a new everyday environment.

tl:dr | Matt took a new job. There's no story behind the story. He's following God's leading. We miss him on our staff, but are glad he's not really going anywhere.
