Hey listener, due to some scheduling conflicts because I caught a cold you’re getting a rare solo episode this week. Going into 2022 I know that I was going to buy a Playstation 5 at some point, so I spent the majority of the year saying goodbye to my PS4 by playing everything that I hadn’t played, but still wanted to for the system. I also begin the episode by opening up about why I started the podcast and some mental health stuff that I currently find myself working through and what I think caused it. I’ve booked guests for the rest of the year, so I promise we’ll get back to our normal programming next week. Topics this week include: Live Art on Black Friday at Cosmic Gorilla from 2 PM - 5PM and Fireside Pizza at 6 PM on Thursday December 1st. The march to episode 100 and the origin story of the podcast. Why I don’t do Zoom episodes. The mental side effects of isolating during 2020. The compounding of my inability to remember names. Aging and disconnecting from society. Hey Listener, thank you for listening to the show and helping me by letting me talk. 16:25 the beginning of Playstation 4 talk. The backstory of a lifelong gamer. Why I didn’t buy the Playstation 5 in late 2020/2021. 22:02: I didn’t expect to love Titan Fall 2 this much. 24:35: Tom Clancy’s The Division II predicted the future…sort of. 27:40: Why I didn’t into The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. 30:10: What is my favorite caveman game of all time? Far Cry: Primal. 32:25: My return to Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim thanks to stand up comedian/podcast host Luke Young. 34:57: Sometimes I get drunk and buy The Contra Anniversary Collection. 35:40: I wanted to love WWE: Battlegrounds, but it was not to be. 36:40: Everyone should play Katamari Damacy Reroll. 38:32: Revisiting Horizon Zero Dawn because I got it’s sequel when I bought my PS5 and how I fell in love with it. 41:00: Whoa here it comes, it’s Man-Eater! 42:30: I’m officially playing the Playstation and Spiderman: Miles Morales is my new favorite superhero game of all time.
