In episode 91 of Theology In Particular I'm joined by Dr. James Renihan to discuss a little phrase found in chapter 1 paragraph 5 of our confession: "the scope of the whole (which is to give all glory to God)". In context, the scope of Scripture is presented as a property of Scripture, but this principle also has implications for the interpretation of Scripture, or hermeneutics.
