Many businesses have a slow season some are in winter while others seem to be in summer. Studies show us that during the summer employees tend to be more distracted and production decreases. They have also been known to show up a little later, leave a little early, and call out more to extend their weekend. There are many reasons this happens, clearly, the weather or the kids being on break are two main ones. So the question becomes do entrepreneurs also hit a “wall” during this time? Absolutely, but the wall may not be what you think, the wall is their mindset and their over-focus on the sales slowing down throwing them into a summer depression. It is when their mindset is weaker than all the other distractions that become a problem.
