Beginning Nov 15th 1966 strange sightings and happenings began to occur in Point Pleasant West Virginia, it started with what witness's described as "large flying man with ten-foot wings with glowing red eyes" and so the legend of MOTHMAN began.

Soon, a whole series of strange events including UFO sightings, appearance of mysterious Men In Black, cattle mutilation's and sadly, the single largest suspended bridge disaster in American history.

In 1970 Grey Barker published his book The Silver Bridge then in 1975 John Keel released what may be the greatest book in the history off the world of the "Strange and Paranormal" The Mothman Prophecies!!

Stephan Ward is a writer, researcher, historian and Mothman expert who has been following the story since it's earliest days. Stephan has spoken all over on the subject of UFO's and the paranormal and has co-organized the official Mothman Festival in Point Pleasant West Virginia as well as leading guided tours thru the area. We are so pleased to welcome Stephen to the show to begin the discussion on the Mothman and it's legacy and lore.
