Mandy began Own It Accounting with a mission: to help solopreneurs break through bureaucracy and make dream profits through minimized taxes, organized accounting, and strategic coaching. She understands how it feels to be overwhelmed by the complexity of the tax code, red tape, and perpetual deadlines and bases her business coaching on the concept “Equity First,” which means that a successful business will focus on its capital structure in addition to profits. 

She wants you to literally OWN your business – retain your earnings, invest in yourself, avoid the risk of unnecessary debt, and pass on a legacy that lasts.  She is also married to a great guy, Rick, and a new mama to a beautiful baby girl. They like to spend free time traveling, skiing, mountain biking, fishing in Northern Minnesota (in the summertime of course!) and enjoying God’s creation.
