One of the hardest chapters to read in the life of David is 2 Samuel 11 where he indulged his lust instead of remaining steadfast in his love for God. This one night would yield a lifetime of consequences for both of these people and the kingdom. Yet even in our mistakes God still offers forgiveness and mercy.
