In Nehemiah chapter 1, we see the framework for prayer given unto the Lord when seeking Him for guidance, deliverance, direction, or whatever else we need God to do in our lives. God not only answered Nehemiahs prayer requests; but during persecution and oppression by two knuckle heads named Sanbalat and Tobiah, made sure the Israelites were protected and were able to finish the word God sent them to do.
