What a long, long, long day; starting with a snowstorm in Manassas, VA and a never-ending drive to NYC, and followed by a long show, a long main event, and the long night of hurry up & wait that always accompanied the clean-up at The Grand Ballroom. That was the story of “Final Battle 2009”, an event that has an infamous reputation among the long-time ROH faithful.

But is it deserved? Is the main event one hour draw actually as bad as some, including our hosts, remember? What about the rest of the show? After all, it featured the return of the Kings of Wrestling, Eddie Kingston, the Steen turn, and a whole lot of action otherwise!
