Welcome to Sleepy Scriptures. Today we begin the New Testament book of Hebrews as I read chapters 1 to 4. I’ll read Psalm 96, and we’ll begin the Old Testament book of First Chronicles with chapters 1 to 4.

Now, today’s Old Testament readings include some lengthy genealogies which can be a bit of a challenge to digest in the light of day. But in the context of Sleepy Scriptures, they might be just what we need to help us drift away into a place of rest.
