On today's award winning episode of the Conversations With The Mind Podcast, we speak with Milena Casamassima about her interests in Social Work and Public Health and how her interests have changed or been enhanced during the global pandemic. We talk about different views and approaches towards COVID and the next phase of overcoming this virus. She and I delve deep into our shared interest around drug policy reform, harm-reduction, and safe use sites as means to change our public perception of healthy drug use for our modern society. We also dig into the idea of policing, not only for the drug war, but also in general and how policing is viewed and experienced differently by different groups of people in our country. Lastly, i ask Milena about her opinions around the difference between healthy masculinity and toxic masculinity and we try to find a healthy pathway for everyone to embrace and promote healthy and productive manifestations of masculine energy in our changing world.
