Hello Pups and Kittens and welcome back for the 94th time to The Groomer Next Door". This week we want to pay tribute to the men and women that protect us on a daily basis from criminals. I'm talking about our Law Enforcement Officers. These men and women put their lives on the line everyday in a war that will never end. And these brave individuals are out there fighting so we all stay safe. Now a brief rundown of what's on the show.[] WEEKLY ROUNDUP: This was a short week because the shop was closed on Monday because of Labor Day. But the moment we returned to work we had PLENTY of pups looking for a spa day.[] GND NEWS: We have (3) stories this week. The first story was in tribute of our generations worst disaster (September 11, 2001). This story was centered around a survivor and his four legged hero. Our second story is coming from China and their diabolical new claim to those who have dogs in the Country. And our final story is from Johnny Depp speaking about his legal issues in Australia. [] MAIN STORY: This week we had not only the honor but pleasure of walking on Tuesday (September 8th, 2015) to support our local Law Enforcement. This was not going to be a podcast moment, it was just going to be us showing support for our local Officers. It changed when I was inspired to share (WITH ALL OF YOU). The experience was so rewarding and felt so amazing to show these Officers how much they meant to us. You can watch the video on YouTube under video podcast episode 10. But it also stirs up the "ALL LIVES MATTER" portion of this weeks show. Over the past year we've heard (fill in the blank) LIVES MATTER in protests all over the Country. And let me put this IMMEDIATELY to rest, ALL LIVES MATTER. Regardless of your race, religion, sex, or sexual preference you matter. A BIG THANK YOU TO Officer Steve Gray & Rocko (Rolla Police Department) Sergeant Ken Nakanishi (Rolla Police Department) Lieutenant Steve Davis (Missouri Highway Patrol) Animal Control Officer John Redshaw (Rolla Animal Control)These men deserve the respect, and gratitude for their everyday devotion to the community. And these are just a few, theirs thousands more locally and many many many more around the Country. With that said I strongly urge others to support your local Law Enforcement Officers.NEXT WEEK:In Rolla will be "STRUT YOUR MUTT" on September 19, 2015 starting at 9am.
