Gaius and Jackson look back at Iron Man for its 15th anniversary which wasn’t only the start of Robert Downey Jr.’s run as the titular hero and his origin story, but also the birth of the Marvel Cinematic Universe as we know it. Directed by Jon Favreau, the film starts Downey Jr., Terrence Howard, Jeff Bridges, Gwyneth Paltrow, Leslie Bibb and Shaun Toub. The duo dive into different aspects of the film including casting, the action sequences, performances, and plot, as well as it’s place as one of the best comic book origin films to hit the big screen. In addition to this, the pair also discuss if it felt like this was the beginning of a universe that has expanded across so many films today.
