This episode is an addendum to and an apology concerning Episode 9 on Bootblacking and Leather Culture. G & M address the insufficient space given to the two separate issues of transphobia in the leather community and the pushback against femininity in leather spaces. They clarify here that these are separate issues which should each be given their own recognition and that while they may overlap in some cases, the hosts make it clear that they did not intend to conflate transmen with femininity.
Additionally, they apologize for the use of "male" in the episode where they mean "cis-men" and acknowledge that the conversational style of the podcast makes language messy.
It is important to both M & G, members of the trans community themselves, that they do better in the future and continue to grow in ways to be more sensitive on KNP.
