On the show today is Daniel Troia, The Travelin Dude. He is a filmmaker who at one point did a little questioning of life, needed some soul searching and hopped on his bike to find answers. He has been on some epic bike touring adventures, and on at least two tours he took along his GoPro to film his experience. His first film, called “Two Wheels to Freedom”, documents his tour from Rome to Amsterdam and is full of adventure and beautiful scenery. Bike touring to Daniel is all about the freedom where you just get on a bike, ride, and let the adventures come to you. His second film documents his tour across the U.S. where he took off on his loaded Surly Long Haul Trucker without food and money, hoping to find both along the way. Not only was he able to find both while biking for 7 months, he also discovered great human connection with strangers. This film will be out soon and is called "We Are All In This Together". Daniel described it perfectly when he said there is something about the constant rhythm of the pedals plus the fresh air that stimulates the brain. This guy gives off a contagious positive vibe and I can’t wait to see what he does next.
