I hate when you call an office and you have to spend 5 minutes just hitting buttons to maybe get to the right departments then sit on hold for 30 or 40 minutes. What about when someone says they will meet you at 5:30 and they roll up after 6pm? Businesses had to re-adapt in 2020 due to closed lobbies but some of them still believe that customers will be willing to sit in the drive thru for 30 minutes? We have a problem with instant gratification but we also now believe that people are willing to wait even longer. What about a doctor's office? If the appointment is at 2:15 then you should be sitting in a room around 2:15. It is common to have to wait 10 or so minutes but when did it become ok to leave someone waiting in a room for 30 minutes before the doctors can see them. Our time is valuable.
