Episode 96 - Black Friday Will Be Lit
What better distraction from the world around us then a podcast all about toys and video games? Well, Episode 96 of the Toys For Games ‘Cast is exactly what you need. As we speed ahead faster and faster towards Thanksgiving - and of course Black Friday - we break down all the upcoming deals in the toys-to-life franchises, and trust me, the genre is going to be lit on Black Friday, as the cool kids would say.
We start off with the “Jason’s Crazy Life” segment, before giving out thanks to all the help and support for the Extra Life 24-hour stream. When we get down to the news, we start off with the first (and only) look at what would have been the Beauty and the Beast figures for Disney Infinity. Then we break down the upcoming sales for LEGO Dimensions, and talk about the potential look of the Hermione Granger figure.
Then we break down the awesome job of the Lightseekers team to finish their Kickstarter campaign strong, as well as check in on the shipping of Bests of Balance games. Heading back to Black Friday, we break down all the known deals thus far Skylanders Imaginators, including the perplexing Portal Owner’s Pack going on sale soon. Finally, we break down the recent amiibo releases as well as the final 3 Smash Bros. figures and when we might see them.
From there, we read the #CommunityQuestion and awarded a listener a cool prize for having the Response of the Week. We skip the Inquire This! segment this week, sadly. And finally, we wrapped up the show with some fantastic emails, as always!
