Don Reiman is a long-time friend and mentor who could easily qualify for Most Interesting Man Alive - a former firefighter who became a successful entrepreneur, a pilot, a cyclist, an outdoorsman, and much more. Those make Don interesting but what makes him unique is his razor-sharp mind and curious soul.
In this episode, Don and I discuss one of our many shared interests: politics. Independents and moderates from the two major parties make up, by far, the largest voting bloc in the US. Yet they are the most under-represented large group. Don refers to this group as the Rational Majority.
During our visit, we both answered the following:
* What are the causal roots of extremism in the US?
* What is one problem/issue that the Rational Majority wants to be addressed and how would you go about addressing it?
* As it relates to politics and the social landscape, what are you hopeful about?
