It's our first episode of 2018 and Collin picked...batteries not included? I missed this one in the '80s.  I'd already seen the octogenarian/space alien angle with Cocoon, and 18 year old me wasn't really interested in revisiting the pairing.  But it's on Netflix at the moment, and I've got a kid who's endlessly fascinated with all things '80s, so here we find ourselves reviewing this Spielberg produced tonal miss-mash of a movie.
