“Learning from Jesus:  Those Who Mourn”In Matthew 11 verses 28-29, Jesus invites His followers to “Learn from Me because I am gentle and lowly in heart.”  Jesus further says in John 8 that He does nothing of Himself but only what the Father shows Him.  Mourning is inevitable for everyone at one time or another in our lives.  We mourn different things, and for different reasons, but the act of mourning is essential to our emotional and spiritual well-being.  Whether we are grieving  loss or the wrestling with the effects of sin, the Lord provides a blessed-ness to "redemptive mourning" as we lean into the  help of the Comforter, the Holy Spirit.  Join Father’s House Augusta as we begin to get a fresh revelation of Jesus for our lives as we dive into the Beatitudes.
